This policy explains what personal information Stretch Nickels More collects, why, and the choices you have. Stretch Nickels More (stretchnickelsmore.com) is operated by Rip & Ride LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("we", "us"). Our address is at the end of this page.

Information we collect

Information you give us

Newsletter: your email address, plus a record of your consent: the date and time, the page you signed up on, the consent wording you agreed to, and the IP address and browser type used to sign up and to confirm.
Free account: your first name, email address and password (stored only as a one-way cryptographic hash), the date you accepted our terms, the checklist steps you mark as done, and whether you asked to be told when Quote Check launches.
Contact form: your name, email address, the topic you choose, your message and your IP address.
Quote Check (once launched): the quote documents and job details you upload, and the review we write. Payments will be handled by a third-party payment provider under its own privacy policy; we receive your name, email and order details, never your full card number. We delete uploaded quotes and reports 90 days after delivery unless you ask us to keep them longer.

What we never ask for. We do not ask for Social Security numbers, bank or card account numbers or passwords. Please remove them from any document you send us.

Information collected automatically

Cookies: we use one essential cookie that keeps you logged in and protects our forms against forgery. It expires when you close your browser. We do not use advertising, analytics or social media cookies.
Server logs: our web host records standard request information such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time, for security and troubleshooting.
Email: we do not put open-tracking pixels or click-tracking links in our emails. Our email delivery provider records whether a message was delivered, bounced, or marked as spam.

How we use it

To send the newsletter you asked for and the account emails you need (verification and password resets).
To run your account, save your checklist and, if you asked, send one email when Quote Check launches.
To answer messages, prepare Quote Check reviews you order, and handle refunds.
To keep records showing that you consented to receive email, and to honor unsubscribe requests.
To protect the site from abuse, spam and fraud, and to comply with law.

We do not use your information for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

How we share it

We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it with contractors, lead buyers or marketers, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with:

Service providers who process it for us under contract: our web hosting provider, Amazon Web Services (email delivery through Amazon Simple Email Service), and, once Quote Check launches, our payment provider and secure file storage provider.
Authorities when required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our users, the public or us.
A successor if our business is sold or merged, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.

How long we keep it

Newsletter subscriptions: while you're subscribed. Unconfirmed sign-ups are never emailed after the single confirmation message. After you unsubscribe we keep your address and the date you unsubscribed so we never email you again by mistake.
Accounts: until you delete your account, which removes it and your checklist progress immediately.
Contact messages: up to 24 months.
Addresses that bounce or report spam: kept on a suppression list so we never send to them again.

Your choices

Unsubscribe from the newsletter with the one-click link in every issue, from your account page, or by emailing hello@stretchnickelsmore.com.
Delete your account yourself from your account page.
Access, correct or delete other information by contacting us. We'll verify your request by email and respond within 45 days.

California and other US state privacy rights

If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon or another state with a consumer privacy law, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale, sharing for targeted advertising, or profiling. We do not sell or share personal information or use it for targeted advertising or profiling, so there is nothing to opt out of, but you can still use the other rights. We will not discriminate against you for using them.

In the last 12 months we collected these categories of personal information: identifiers (name, email address, IP address), commercial information (order details), internet activity (server log data) and records of your consent. We collected them from you and your browser, for the purposes described above, and disclosed them only to the service providers listed above.

To make a request, email hello@stretchnickelsmore.com with the subject "Privacy request" or use our contact form. You may use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof of the agent's authority. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision, and we'll respond within 60 days.

Children

Our site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and accounts require you to be 18 or older. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use HTTPS, hash passwords, limit who can access data, and keep our database out of public web access. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Where your information is processed

We are based in the United States. Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, tell subscribers and members by email.
